I go by Cat Crowefire. The name Crowefire is about love, light, community, connection and passion. In both my undergrad and graduate studies I was identified as Crowe, C from my first name Catrina and my last name Rowe. When I see crow with an e I think old English for raven. When I was in British Columbia Canada I was in an aboriginal drumming group whose name meant Fireweed like the beautiful medicinal purple flower that spreads like wildfire. Although I was not First Nations they welcomed me into their group and we drummed all over the province. For the healing empire I am building with several community projects I wanted to pick a name that would mean love and connection and spread like wildfire.

 

This site is where I show chase my art, take commissions, sell T-shits and hoodies.  I work with many different mediums. I have worked with stained glass, wood carving, wood burning, different type of clay, ceramics, oil paint, acrylic, watercolour, marker, uv resin,  printmaking, pastels, wax and a few other mediums.
